Tehran (IP) - The President of Iran left the country for Muscat on Monday, May 23, 2022.

Iran PressIran News: Heading a high-ranking delegation, Ebrahim Raisi set off for Oman at the formal invitation of the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. 

The visit is aimed at expansion of Iran-Oman economic, political and cultural interactions. 

Before his departure, Raisi told the reporters that the visit was of importance for developing ties with the neighboring countries, and that it was a priority in the Iranian foreign policy.

He said the trade ties would also expand in tourism, health and energy.
