Iran Press/ Iran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh reacted on Monday to the interfering comments by his American counterpart Ned Price about some protest rallies in a number of the Iranian cities.
"Such an over-rejoicing of the US government is indicative of the fact that the approach the Iranian government has adopted, that is the protection of Iran's economy and popularizing it, have worried the Americans," Khatibzadeh told reporters on the sidelines of his weekly press conference.
In a meddlesome tweet on Monday, the Spokesman of the US Secretary of State Ned Price tried to deviate the protest of a group of the Iranian people from the right peaceful path:
"Brave Iranian protestors are standing up for their rights. The Iranian people have a right to hold their government accountable. We support their rights to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression online and offline - without fear of violence and
Khatibzadeh noted that the exclusion of the dollar from Iran's economy and neutralization of the sanctions was taken for sure, stressing that the government must support the trend to protect the country's economy.
He then told the American authorities that they had better learn to respect other nations and countries' sovereignty.
