Tehran(IP)- Iran and the United Nations agreed to hold the Advanced Trade Diplomacy Training Course on May 7 and 8 in the presence of instructors from the International Trade Center (ITC) at the Trade Development Organization of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: The International Trade Center (ITC) is an international organization affiliated with the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, based in Geneva, Switzerland, and is one of the leading international institutions in trade capacity building in developing countries.

According to the Deputy Minister of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, economic and international experts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be present along with experts and business advisors of the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade.

This course aims to acquaint more participants with the developments in the international trade system and to learn about the successful experiences of developing countries in promoting trade diplomacy.

Participants will also learn about the latest methods and achievements of the International Trade Center in business facilities and capacity building to support small and medium enterprises and will be closely acquainted with the tools and models of target market analysis.

Increasing foreign trade, especially with neighboring countries, is one of the priorities of economic diplomacy of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and financial experts and business advisers in Iranian embassies abroad have a unique role to play in this regard.
