Tehran (IP) - Iran's ambassador to Kuwait announced Tehran's readiness to resume talks with Kuwait over the Arash (al-Durra) gas field.

Iran Press/Iran News: Arash gas field is one of the gas fields in Iran, which is located in the north of the Persian Gulf and in Bushehr province (southern Iran).

This gas field is one of the joint fields of Iran with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and the on-site gas reserves of the Arash field are estimated at 20 trillion cubic feet, and the on-site oil reserves of this field are estimated at about 310 million barrels.

The Iranian ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Irani, said Iran was ready to resume talks with Kuwait over the Arash gas field.

Irani said that bilateral relations between Iran and Kuwait are in the best condition and that this positive atmosphere will provide a platform for discussion and consultation on the al-Durra gas field and to reach a solution.

Regarding the recent talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, Irani said: "The fifth round of these talks ended with very good results and I hope that all existing differences between the two countries, whether bilateral or regional, will be resolved."
