Iran (IP) - The CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) reported a 600k-barrel increase in Iran's oil production.

Iran PressIran News: In recent months, Iran's oil exports have grown with the successive increases being recorded, which have been unprecedented in the last three years.

The increase is despite the harsh sanctions imposed on Iran by the White House.

The CEO of NISOC Alireza Daneshi said that at the request of the Raisi administration the mandatory oil production plan was modified and the output of the company increased by 600,000 barrels per day since the establishment of his administration.

Daneshi said: "Whenever the administration instructs, we can quickly return to the pre-sanctions production levels; we have seen a decline in downhole activities over the past 15 years, but now the situation is favorable and although the problems have not been completely resolved, the situation is improving.”
