Iran Press/ Middle East: On the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, by the initiative of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, Muslim people across the world keep the Palestinian issue alive and show solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Thousands of Iraqi people rallied in Basra city to mark Quds Day while carrying portraits of Imam Khomeini, Imam Khamenei, Ayatollah Sistani, Martyr Qassem Soleimani, and Martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
They also chanted slogans against the Israeli regime, which has occupied Palestine since 1948; they chanted "Down with US" and "Down with Israel," condemning the regime's suppressive actions against the Palestinian people.

People in Bahrain also came into the streets to mark the world day of Quds and condemned some Arab states' normalization of relations with the Israeli regime.
The Leader of the Sadr Faction, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for criminalizing ties with the Israeli regime.
Four Arab states, namely UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, and Morocco, normalized their ties with the Israeli regime in 2020 out of the US pressure; the action provoked protests across the Islamic and Arab countries.
