Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 22 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,961.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 23, 2022, 7,215,512 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,963,991 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 608 cases, of whom 140 were hospitalized.1,087 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,759,838 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.According to the latest analysis, two cities are red, 48 are orange, 323 are Yellow, and 75 are blue.

So far, 64,259,733 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,452,050 have received the second dose, 26,888,907 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 148,600,690 doses.
