Iran Press/ Iran News: In a condition that Iran was facing a severe lack of vaccines and the death reached 700 cases, with the conformity of people to the taken measures, the country managed to contain the outbreak of the virus and be among the top 10 countries across the world in this regard, said Bahram Einollahi in the open chamber of the Parliament on Tuesday.
Einollahi pointed to the resumption of the education and business activities in the country and said in the US and EU, the Omicron variant caused 2,000 to 3,000 casualties a day. Still, in Iran, the vigor returned to the people.
Despite the US sanction on Iran's medicine amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Iranian scientist managed to develop vaccines and simultaneously vaccinate people.
Iranian-made COVIran Barekat vaccine was registered by the World Health Organization (WHO); according to research by Iranian scientists, the COVIran Barekat prevents up to 98% of deaths.
