Some 150,000 Palestinian worshipers performed prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the third Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, after the Israeli regime's troops attacked the holy site today and injured 40 other Palestinian worshippers by firing rubber bullets at them.

Iran Press/Iran news: Israeli media reported that Palestinians “were praying peacefully following morning clashes at the compound.”

However, Palestinian media reported that clashes renewed afternoon at Al-Aqsa, with Israeli drones firing tear gas at Palestinians at the site’s courtyards, Lebanon's al-Manar television network reported.

Palestinian Red Crescent reported that dozens of Palestinians suffocated due to gas bombs fired by occupation forces.

Earlier on Friday morning, more than 40 Palestinians were wounded by Israeli rubber bullets as Israeli occupation stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
