Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 23 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,877.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 19, 2022, 7,210,788 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,952,007 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,820 cases, and 246 were hospitalized.

1,264 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,543,394 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 55 cities are red, 84 are orange, 274 are Yellow, and 35 are zones.

So far, 64,221,469 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,400,435 have received the second dose, 26,820,130 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 148,442,034 doses.
