Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 25 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,854.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 18, 2022, 7, 208, 968 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,948,946 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,009 cases, of whom 249 patients were hospitalized.

1,307 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,484,026 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 55 cities are red, 84 are orange, 274 are Yellow and 35 are zones.

So far, 64,203,988 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,374,503 have received the second dose, 26,782,955 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 148,361,446 doses.
