Middle East(IP) - Media sources reported that the Israeli regime closed the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque for two days due to Jewish holidays.

Iran PressMiddle East: AL- Quds and the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque have witnessed the worst clashes in the past year between Israeli militias and Palestinian worshipers since Friday (April 15th). At least 160 Palestinians were injured in the clashes.

According to Iran Press citing Russia Today, Israeli officials on Monday decided to prevent Palestinian worshipers from entering the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque on Wednesday due to Jewish holidays.

Ghassan al-Rajabi, the Director of the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque, strongly condemned the continued expansion of the Israeli authorities' influence on the mosque by force of arms, as well as the usurpation of a large part of it by the Israeli military and its surrender to the settlers.

Clashes in Al-Quds have escalated following Jewish attempts to offer sacrifices at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with Palestinians and resistance groups warning the Israeli regime.

Arab countries and political currents have also strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
