Iran Press/ Commentary: Friday was the last day of the Jewish Passover (Pesach) holiday, in which extremist settlers supporting the Temple Movement planned to sacrifice the lambs inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque this year and scatter their ashes on the Dome of the Rock after burning the corpses.
For years, this movement has sought to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque and replace it with a Solomon's Temple. Despite the fact that the Zionist government in practice cooperates with the settlers and has pursued the policy of settlement over the past few decades in a way that will eventually lead to the separation of Al-Quds city from the rest of the West Bank and change its geographical and demographic context, so far, for fear of unforeseen consequences of the demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque, has refused to give free hand to the Temple Movement.
For several months, supporters of the movement sought to implement their idea of sacrifice inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but the four operations carried out by the Palestinians provided a kind of deterrence against the implementation of this idea.
However, in order to appease the settler Zionists, especially the supporters of the Temple Movement, the Zionist regime carried out large-scale attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrated it. The regime has organized efforts on the agenda in the city of Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and has pursued a united strategy over the past few decades, despite the formation of different governments.
From the very beginning, settlements in the West Bank were built to extend from the north to the south of the West Bank, and to surround the city on all four sides near Al-Quds city, forcing the Palestinians to leave the city.
Another goal was to destroy all the symbols of the Palestinian state, because whenever there is talk of a Palestinian state, Al-Quds is mentioned as its capital, so from the point of view of the Zionists, if Al-Quds becomes completely Jewish, then the possibility of forming the Palestinian state will also be vanished.
Accordingly, just as the domination of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque has become a common goal of all Zionists, the same idea has been deep rooted in Palestinian society, and all Palestinians, despite their differences in some cases or live in different areas of the occupied territories and outside it, they pursue a common goal against the plans of the Zionist regime in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Even in this case, the Palestinians living in the 1948 occupied territories, known as Israel, who have lived with the Jews for many years, are leading the way and as it becomes clear two anti-Israeli attacks were carried out by these Palestinians inside Israel and at the same time, whenever it becomes clear that the Zionists intend to attack and desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque, they immediately reach this place so as not to fall behind in this struggle.
Given that Palestinians inside Israel make up about one-fifth of the population of occupied Palestine, the Zionist regime is anxious to enter the fight against the regime and is cautious in the light of past experiences, including Operation Sword of Al-Quds.

During the operation, Palestinians living in Gaza fired rockets into the heart of Tel Aviv with the help of Palestinians living in the 1948 Occupied Territories and the West Bank to counter the Zionist regime's attempt to relocate a group of Palestinians living in Al-Quds city.
In a situation where the Arab countries, especially those who are normalizing ties with the Zionist regime, have practically withdrawn their support from the Palestinians and left them alone against the Zionist regime, but the Palestinians by continuing their fighting in support of the Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque has increased their unity and integrity, and this makes them more determined in the face of the present and future confrontations.
