Gaza (IP) - A senior leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that Palestinian youth and worshipers, with their large presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque, recorded another epic in the history of the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupiers.

Iran PressMiddle East: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Gaza on Friday, Fawzi Barhoum has stated that the large presence of Palestinian youth in Al-Aqsa Mosque indicates the continuation of resistance against the Zionist occupiers.

Palestinians, especially Palestinian youth, were widely present at Al-Aqsa Mosque at the request of Hamas on Friday morning, and the Zionist occupiers invaded Al-Aqsa Mosque, injuring and arresting hundreds of Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that the organization's relief forces transferred 152 wounded Palestinians from Al-Aqsa Mosque to Beit-ul-Moqaddas hospitals on Friday.

Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), condemned the Zionist invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque and stressed that the Palestinians were protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque from Zionist atrocities.

Palestinian Authority Spokesman Nabil Abu Roudina also said that the Israeli military incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque was a dangerous event, a desecration of this religious place and a declaration of war on the Palestinian people.
