Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 49 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,577.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 09, 2022, 7,188,749 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,913,934 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,757 cases, of whom 304 patients were hospitalized.

1,647 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,959,336 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 34 cities are red, 69 are orange, 291 are Yellow and 54 are in blue zones.

So far, 64,058,452 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,120,485 have received the second dose, 26,494,155 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 147,673,092 doses.
