Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 44 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,451.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 6, 2022, 7,180,008 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,900,097 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 4,228 cases, of whom 494 were hospitalized.

1,483 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,779,243 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 36 cities are red, 59 are orange, 295 are Yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 64,005,098 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,027,341 have received the second dose, 26,403,135 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 147,435,574 doses.
