Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 37 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,277.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 2, 2022, 7,166,371 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,882,030 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,887 cases, of whom 326 patients were hospitalized.

1,679 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,538,854 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 36 cities are red, 59 are orange, 295 are Yellow and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 63,935,082 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,906,191 have received the second dose, 26,252,008 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 147,093,281 doses.
