Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 46 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,204.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 31, 2022, 7,162,220 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,873,642 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,487 cases, of whom 355 patients were hospitalized.

1,596 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,419,202 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 24 cities are red, 68 are orange, 306 are yellow and 50 are blue zones.

So far, 63,916,316 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,883,720 have received the second dose, 26,207,244 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 147,007,280 doses.
