Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 49 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,158.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 30, 2022, 7,159,733 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,868,435 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,987 cases, of whom 409 patients were hospitalized.

1,551 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,358,909 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 24 cities are red, 68 are orange, 306 are Yellow, and 50 are blue zones.

So far, 63,890,778 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,842,387 have received the second dose, 26,151,478 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 146,884,643 doses.
