Tehran(IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister, in his latest tweet, said that Iran and China stressed maintaining cooperation, countering coercion, unilateralism, and inhuman leverage of sanctions.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian tweeted on Friday, referring to his visit to China and meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Y saying: " We stressed on maintaining cooperation & countering coercion, unilateralism & inhuman leverage of sanctions."

The Iranian Foreign Minister, who headed a political delegation to attend the third meeting of Afghanistan's foreign ministers in Tun Xi, China, on Tuesday, also attended the meeting, as well as the meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighbors, along with the Taliban, Qatar, and Indonesia.

"Establishing an intra-regional mechanism and establishing a financial fund to support the Afghan people in parallel with the formation of an inclusive national government is a necessity," the Iranian foreign minister said at the third meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors in Tun Xi, China.

Amir- Abdollahian stated at the meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries, in addition to the Taliban, Qatar, and Indonesia: "We must help the people of Afghanistan to have a bright and prosperous future."

Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Special Representative of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan, Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General for South Asia, Reza Zabib, Assistant Foreign Minister of Iran and Director General of Asia-Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accompanied Amir -Abdollahian on this trip.

The Iranian Foreign Minister returned to Tehran on Friday morning.
