Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 72 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,550.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 19, 2022, 7,139,217 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,817,172 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,323 cases, of whom 319 patients were hospitalized.

2,082 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,669,387 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 29 cities are red, 126 are orange, 278 are Yellow and 15 are zones.

So far, 63,743,044 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,522,644 have received the second dose, 25,669,551 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 145,935,239 doses.
