Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 91 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,478.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 18, 2022, 7,137,894 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,812,005 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,175 cases, of whom 419 were hospitalized.

2,167 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,601,118 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 99 cities are red, 186 are orange, 154 are yellow, and 9 are blue zones.

So far, 63,728,118 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,486,612 have received the second dose, 25,617,595 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 145,832,325 doses.
