Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 98 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,387.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 17, 2022, 7,135,719 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,805,081 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,580 cases, of whom 512 were hospitalized.

2,234 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,534,882 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 99 cities are red, 186 are orange, 154 are yellow, and 9 are blue zones.

So far, 63,710,662 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,452,606 have received the second dose, 25,562,931 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 145,726,159 doses.
