Tehran (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister and the visiting Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) held talks in Tehran on Saturday.

Iran PressIran News: Before his talks with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, IAEA's Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi attended a joint press conference with Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami.

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that the issues between the AEOI and International Atomic Energy Agency should be resolved in a natural process, and the necessary documents would be exchanged until June.

During the conference, Grossi said he sees no possibility for a comprehensive deal, like the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), if his organization and Iran fail to reach a mutual understanding about the Safeguards Agreement issues.

IAEA chief arrived in Tehran late on Friday and his visit will last for one day.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, the Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said: "The issues between Iran and the IAEA during the talks in Tehran are expected to be fully discussed and the way of cooperation in the future to be fully determined."

Kamalvandi went on to say: "Rafael Mariano Grossi is on a one-day visit to Tehran, and this evening he is leaving Tehran for Vienna after meeting with Iranian officials.
