Tehran (IP)- The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that Tehran welcomes growing relations with all Central Asian countries, especially Uzbekistan.

Iran Press/Iran news: "Today, the Presidents of the two countries want to develop relations in all aspects. By activating all capacities, we intend to take big steps towards the prosperity and development of the two countries," in a meeting with Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardar Omar Zakov, President Ebrahim Raisi said.

Noting that Tashkent has drawn up a roadmap for the development of bilateral relations immediately after the two presidents met in Turkmenistan, Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardar Omar Zakov said: That is why the President of Uzbekistan has sent a high-level delegation of economic officials and private sector activists accompanying me to finalize ways to implement the roadmap for the comprehensive development of relations.

Noting that the trade volume between the two countries has increased 2.5 times compared to last year, Sardar Omar Zakov said that Tashkent seeks to deepen everything in various fields, including trade, economy, investment, transportation, and cultural relations.
