Tehran (IP) – Iranian MPs and government representatives exchanged their views on the following year's budget in a meeting that lasted more than three hours on Sunday morning.

Iran PressIran News: The closed session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) was held on Sunday morning to participate in the Minister of Agriculture Jihad and Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance.

Elaborating on the session, the Speaker of the Parliament's Presiding Board, Nezamoddin Mousavi, stated that the purpose of the session was interaction and dialogue between the MPs and administration representatives.

He noted that the head of the Plan and Budget Organization (PBO), the head of the Central Bank, the head of the Supreme Audit Court (SAC), and the Minister of Agriculture Jihad expressed their views in the closed session.

He added that six MPs and the chairmen of the economy and agriculture, program and budget, and production surge commissions also commented.
