The Israeli military forces suppressed Palestinian protesters in the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds.

Iran PressMiddle East: Al-Sheikh Jarah neighborhood, which has been in a state of turmoil in recent days with renewed attacks by settlers and Israeli military forces, was the scene of anti-occupation protests on Friday evening.

According to the Al-Mayadin network, Israeli forces attacked Palestinians participating in anti-Israel demonstrations in the West Bank and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds, injuring at least 150 Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said 76 people were injured by plastic bullets, 75 by tear gas and several by direct gas bombs in the West Bank city of Beita.

The Palestinians who took part in the demonstration said that the widespread solidarity from inside and outside Palestine with the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah shows that the liberation of the Palestinian territories is imminent.

"Israel is trying to Judaize Quds and wants to close one of the most important doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque by seizing the Sheikh Jarah," said Ahmad Khalifa, an activist in Quds.

The Sheikh Jarrah area, located in the eastern axis of occupied Al-Quds, has been an important goal since 1967 in changing the demographic structure of Al-Quds and depriving it of its Islamic identity. What is happening these days is to challenge and provoke the residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood who are standing against all the settlement plans inside this neighborhood.
