Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 116 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 133,164.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 09, 2022, 6,696,927 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,215,909 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 39,085 cases, of whom 2,902 patients were hospitalized.2,853 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 45,707,045 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 120 cities are red, 153 are orange, 167 are yellow, and 8 are blue zones.

So far, 61,292,771 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 54,666,259 have received the second dose, 20,516,478 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 136,475,508 doses.
