Tehran (IP) - In a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart, Iran's Foreign Minister said that the presence of the Israeli regime in the region is a threat to all regional countries.

Iran PressIran news: Isaac Herzog, the Israeli regime's president, officially entered UAE on January 30 as the Emirati conflict with Yemeni was recently escalated. After the UAE continued its intervention in the war on Yemen, the Yemenis targeted Abu Dhabi and Dubai with missile and drone strikes in several stages.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his Emirati counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday stressed that the crisis-making elements in the region must be prevented. 

Amir-Abdollahian told his Arab counterpart: "We believe that the continuation of war and the extension of conflicts are not in the interest of both parties and the region."

For his part, the Emirati foreign minister said that Abu Dhabi was trying to reconcile all the engaging parties for a political solution under the support of the UN.

Earlier on Monday, the spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs made comments about the Israeli president's trip to UAE told the reporters that crisis-making was in the essence of the Israeli regime, and its life was subject to terror and bloodshed.

With the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia invaded Yemen in March 2015.

The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis, destroying over 85 percent of the country's infrastructure.
