Tehran (IP) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman says Iran, China and Russia are developing their relations to create peace in the region.

Iran PressIran News: Entitled "Maritime Security Belt 2022," the Trilateral Combined Naval Exercise was held on January 20, 2022 in the North Indian Ocean attended by Iran, Russia and China.

Attending his weekly press conference, in response to Iran Press question, Saeed Khatibzadeh referred to the Trilateral Combined Naval Exercise dubbed as "Maritime Security Belt 2022" in the Northern Indian Ocean, saying that the details are not necessary to be mentioned due to army considerations.

He noted that various units from Iran, China and Russia attended the drill aiming at creating peace and security in the region.

Khatibzadeh stated that military coordination is a part of developing relations among the three countries.

He later referred to the poor condition of people in Afghanistan, saying that 80% of the population is under the poverty line.

He noted that Tehran firmly demands Afghans' currencies to be given to them, which benefits the people.

In another part of the conference, again, he emphasized that SouthKorea's debt to Iran has made smooth development which is not acceptable.
