Khatibzadeh on the Saudi Arabia's presence in Vienna:

Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that the presence of the Saudi Arabia's delegation in Vienna is just based on their own bilateral and national will, and it has nothing to do with Vienna talks.

Iran PressIran news: Foreign ministry spokesman about the presence of a delegation from Saudi Arabia in Vienna said: "These meetings are not limited to Saudi Arabia and all countries might travel to Vienna."

Saeed Khatibzadeh in his weekly press conference on Monday and in response to a question raised by Iran press correspondent about the presence of a Saudi delegation in Vienna, said: "These talks are not matter of other days."

Referring to the eighth round of Vienna talks, he said: "Many countries, including Saudi Arabia, will travel to Vienna on the bilateral and national basis."

Khatibzadeh said: "These meetings and bilateral talks were also held before in person or by phone during the years of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) talks.”
