Vienna (IP) - Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna denied Saudi diplomats' presence in the negotiations.

Iran PressEurope: No source has yet officially confirmed or denied it. But at the same time, Mikhail Ulyanov, tweeted, "The interest of some states to maintain contact with the participants in the negotiations on restoration of JCPOA is normal and understandable. But this doesn't mean expanding the scope of the Vienna Talks."

Recently, the news was published in which it was claimed that the US special envoy, along with E3 representatives have met with Saudi diplomats in Vienna on Tuesday.

"Not at all. Only original JCPOA  (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) participants can take part in the talks," the Russian diplomat noted.

The eighth round of Vienna talks began in the Austrian capital on Monday, December 27, and was temporarily suspended on December 30 due to the New Year; the talks resumed today (Monday).
