Others are not allowed to decide for us in negotiations: MP

Tehran (IP) - A spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission says Iran's goal in Vienna talks is to reach a conclusion and does not allow others to make decisions for it.

Iran PressIran news: Regarding the Vienna talks on lifting the sanctions, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh-Meshkini stated that so far, the other parties have not shown any determination to lift the sanctions and all their efforts are to gain concessions from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Noting that the western side is trying to keep Iran in the waiting conditions, he said: "These conditions make the investment process and economic stability problematic; while Iran's goal in the negotiation is to reach a definite result and our time is limited and we will not allow others to decide for us."

As a responsible country, Iran has repeatedly stated that the United States has violated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA); hence, it is Washington that must return to the agreement through lifting sanctions and fulfilling their obligations, which also needs to be verified.
