Iran Press/ Asia: Snatching two silver medals and one bronze medal in the 81 kg weight category, Mostafa Javadi stood second place in the world and brought a silver medal for Iran for the first time in this weight.
Javadi won a bronze medal in the 81kg category lifting the 163kg weight in a snatch. He also lifted 367 kg in a clean-and-jerk and won two silver medals.
The 2021 World Weightlifting Championship competitions are underway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
