Iran Press/Middle East: Alireza Abbaspour, the representative of Iran in the 81 kg category, competed against his rivals on Friday evening and won the first gold medal for the Iranian team.
He lifted 147 kg in the snatch move to win the gold medal.
He also lifted 181 kg in the clean and jerk and won the three gold medals in the 81 kg category.
The 2021 Youth World Weightlifting Championships commenced on October 5 and will be wrapped up on October 12.
