Yemen (IP) - In the wake of the Saudi regime's overnight attacks on residential neighborhoods and a grocery store in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, more than 30 Yemeni citizens were killed and wounded.

Iran PressMiddle East: Saudi coalition fighter jets targeted several residential quarters and a grocery store as well as civilian properties in Sanaa on Saturday night, killing more than 16 Yemeni civilians and wounding 16 others.

The Saudi coalition attack also caused significant damage to the homes of Yemeni citizens in Sanaa.

Backed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia has launched a military invasion of Yemen and land, sea, and air siege since March 2015.

The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed and injured hundreds of thousands of Yemenis and displaced 4 million.

Saudi Arabia's military aggression has also destroyed more than 85 percent of Yemen's infrastructure, leaving the country severely short of food and medicine.
