Tehran (IP) - The opening ceremony of the 2021 World Deaf Karate and Taekwondo Championships officially started in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press News Agency, the ceremony was held in the presence of ran's Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth, Mehdi Alinejad, at the Taekwondo House.

Mehdi Farshadan, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Mehran Tishegaran, the Head of the Deaf Sports Federation, Mohammad Pargar, President of the Asia-Pacific Deaf Sports Confederation, presidents of Taekwondo, Karate, and Handball Federations were among the other participants in the ceremony.

In the World Deaf Karate and Taekwondo championships, 350 athletes in 14 teams of men and women will compete from November 21 to 24 at the Taekwondo House and the Handball Federation Hall of Iran.
