Iran Press/ Iran News: Attending a press conference after meeting Turkey's foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, stated that effective negotiations were held to develop a new road map and long-term cooperation between Iran and Turkey.
Iran's foreign minister went on to say that we also discussed regional and international issues, and Afghanistan was one of them.
He added that creating peace and security in the west of Asia and emphasizing the neighborhood between Iran and Turkey was also discussed.
The two countries also discussed bilateral investment, possible private sector investment opportunities, and effective ways of lifting trade barriers between Iran and Turkey.
Iran and Turkey have historical and friendly relations, which are emphasized, noted the minister.
Expanding cooperation in trade, energy transit, and lifting barriers to accelerate this cooperation were also revised, highlighted Amir-Abdollahian.
