Tehran (IP) - Iran's Roads and Urban Development Minister highlighted the possibility of goods transit directly from Bandar Abbas to Kyrgyzstan.

Iran PressIran news: The bilateral meeting of Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi and Daniyar Amangeldiev, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, as chairmen of the Joint Commissions for Economic Cooperation between the two countries, was held on Saturday evening.

In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the Joint Commissions for Economic Cooperation, Rostam Ghasemi mentioned: "This route also provides the import of Iranian goods to China."

Issues such as trade, Iran-Kyrgyzstan joint venture, and the creation of a two-nation private investment fund were discussed and agreed upon, said the Iranian minister.

Ghasemi emphasized the willingness of the two countries' officials to expand bilateral relations and Iran and Kyrgyzstan's readiness to cooperate in the agricultural sectors.

Confirming the growth in trade exchanges between the two sides, especially in agriculture, Rostam Ghasemi expressed Iran's readiness to invest in Kirgizstan. 

The two sides also explored the two countries' trade capacities while discussing road, aviation, and railroad transportation expansion.
