New Delhi (IP) - Iran has a lot of scientific, technical and transit capabilities that can cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in these areas, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), told his Kyrgyz counterpart.

Iran PressAsia: Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran's SNSC, who is in New Delhi to attend the third regional security meeting, met with the Secretary of Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Marat Imankulov, this afternoon.

Shamkhani called all countries in the region to help the people of Afghanistan.

Imankulov also stressed the need to expand cooperation, especially in the field of regional security, and said: "We have good abilities in agriculture and renewable energy that we can use in bilateral relations."

New Delhi's third regional security meeting started on November 10 at the level of national security advisers and secretaries of security councils. It was chaired by India’s National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval.

The first two editions of the event were hosted by Iran in 2018 and 2019.

Representatives from Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, attended the meeting.

The high-level forum is expected to review the security situation in the region arising from recent developments in Afghanistan. It will also discuss measures to address the relevant security challenges and support the people of Afghanistan in promoting peace, security, and stability.
