Iran Health Ministry injects 98 million corona vaccine shots

Tehran (IP) – According to Iran's Health Ministry, the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 98,181,400 doses.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 55,576,533 people had received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 42,183,468 have received the second dose, and 421,399 have received their third dose.

According to the report, the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 98,181,400 doses.

Iran's Health Ministry also reported 124 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 128,042.

Based on definitive laboratory findings, a total number of 6,031,575 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,683,458 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 4,306 cases, out of whom 784 patients were hospitalized.

3,533 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

Also, 36,932,280 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran so far.

According to the latest analysis, 26 cities are red, 87 are orange, 222 are yellow, and 113 are in the blue zones.
