Iran logs 123 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 123 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 127,809.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings, a total number of 6,019,947 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,656,447 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,539 cases, out of whom 1,323 patients were hospitalized.3,582 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 36,720,612 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 33 cities are red, 95 are orange, 220 are yellow, and 100 are blue zones.

So far, 55,500,300 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 41,506,171 have received the second dose, and 393,865 have received their third dose with the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 97,400,336 doses.
