Nasrallah

The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah delivered a speech on the occasion of Hezbollah Martyr’s Day.

Iran PressMiddle East: Delivering the speech on Thursday evening, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah commemorated the martyrs and said that it was with the blessing of these martyrs that there existed passion, nostalgia, love, adoration, psychological solace, and a lively spirit in Lebanon.

Nasrallah said among the achievements of the martyrs was the fight against and toppling the US-backed Takfiri scheme in the region. "Arabs have acknowledged Syria’s victory and the defeat of some Arab states schemes that cost millions of dollars," he exampled.

"Also one of the martyrs’ achievements," he continued, "was preventing a civil war in Lebanon, which was still lasting."

Israel fallen into panic

Then, Hezbollah's leader pointed to the Israeli regime's illegal constructions in northern Palestine and said that the 'Israeli' drills reflect the real fear of Hezbollah storming into the settlements in the Galilee.

He warned: "If the Resistance enters occupied northern Palestine and the Galilee, this will have very big repercussions on the Israeli entity."

“Israel is living an existential fear and the increase of Israeli violence against the prisoners and the Palestinians is not a sign of strength, but rather a sign of anxiety and panic," Nasrallah pointed out.

We have prevented a full US hegemony over Lebanon

Elsewhere in his speech, Nasrallah pointed to the fact that Hezbollah broke the full hegemony of the US over Lebanon, noting that the country was not fully liberated from US hegemony.

"The US still has a significant influence on Lebanon and on its state institutions," he added. Nasrallah recalled that Lebanon was under US pressure for years and that pressure increased during the Trump administration.

He went on to say: "Until now, the Lebanese state has rejected American dictations regarding border demarcation and it managed to remain resilient due to the blood of the martyrs."

Nasrallah said Hezbollah was looking forward to the rise of a Lebanese state that enjoyed true sovereignty; one which would reject foreign dictations.

Nasrallah reiterated: "The Americans are lying to Lebanon regarding the so-called Hof Line. Lebanon here relies on the strength of the martyrs’ blood and the Resistance that is able to deter the enemy."

Saudis behind recent crisis in Lebanon

Sayyad Hassan Nasrallah considered the recent unrest in Lebanon a Saudi-fabricated crisis and said: "We are very interested in clarifying the facts because we are facing a battle of public opinion and injustice."

He recalled that the Lebanese Information Minister Georges Kurdahi did not attack anyone and did not use harsh terms.

"The Saudi much exaggerated about Kurdahi’s statements," he added.

Following the pro-Yemeni comments of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kurdahi, who urged the end of the war on Yemen, Saudi Arabia recalled its ambassadors to Beirut and called on the Lebanese envoy to Riyadh to leave the country.

The UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait also recalled their ambassadors to Lebanon, following in the footsteps of Saudi Arabia.

Yet the Hezbollah leader pointed out that Saudi Arabia, which claimed to be an Islamic country, did not react to the insults to the Prophet by officials in Western several countries.

Nasrallah said the crisis that Saudi Arabia instigated was part of the battle on the Resistance in Lebanon: "Since 2006, Saudi Arabia has been on top of this battle, and we are aware the Saudi incitement during the July war."

The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah brought Saudi Arabia's claim of friendship with the Lebanese nation for the regime's hostility toward the popular movement of Hezbollah: "Is this how friends deal with their friends?"
