Tehran (IP) - Iran's Red Crescent Society reported importing another six million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Iran PressIran news: This is the 32nd shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine that arrived in Iran, delivered to the Ministry of Health at Mehrabad International Airport on Thursday. 

According to the Red Crescent Society, the shipment contains 6 million doses of Sinopharm COVID vaccines. 

Since seven months ago, Iran's Red Crescent Society has imported 106.390 million vaccine doses to the country.

With its maximum pressure policy toward Iran, the US prevented importing medical items amid the coronavirus pandemic.

With the new administration taking office in Iran, preparing vaccines either domestically or from other countries was accelerated significantly.
