Tehran (IP) – Head of Iran's Red Crescent Society said the 31st consignment of COVID-19 vaccine purchased by the society entered Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Karim Hemmati stated that the consignment was delivered to the officials of the Health Ministry at Imam Khomeini Airport on Tuesday.

According to Hemmati, the consignment contains 6 million doses of the Sinopharm COVID vaccine.

He pointed out that Iran's Red Crescent Society has imported 100,390,000 doses of COVID vaccine during the past seven months, including seven consignments of 6 million doses of Sinopharm COVID vaccine since September 26.

He announced Red Crescent Society's readiness to import COVID vaccines as much as needed.
