Iran and Turkmenistan have agreed to reopen the Inchebouron border crossing after a 20-month closure due to the Corona epidemic.

Iran Press/Iran News: Seyed Ruhollah Latifi, the spokesman of Iran's customs, said on Wednesday: "Inchebouron border crossing located between Golestan province and Turkmenistan will be reopened tomorrow, Thursday, after 20 months."

According to the agreement between the two countries, the transit of Iranian commercial trailers to Turkmenistan will resume tomorrow morning.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Iran-Turkmenistan border crossings closed.

The Bajgiran border crossing between Khorasan Razavi province and Turkmenistan is still completely closed and has not yet been reopened.
