Iran scores 288 COVID deaths within 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 288 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 119,360.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 26, 2021, 5,533,520 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,944,087 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 13,792 cases, out of whom 1,926 patients were hospitalized.

6,320 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,756,999 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 29 cities are red, 224 are orange, 165 are yellow, and 30 are blue zones.

So far, 35,491,727 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 15,467,255 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 50,958,982 doses.
