Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sidelines of the unloading of the consignment at Imam Khomeini Airport, the Deputy Head of Customs Administration of Iran Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi stated: "This is the 50th shipment of imported COVID vaccines; in the previous 49 shipments, about 47 million doses of vaccine were imported to Iran."
He noted that about 45% of all COVID vaccines were imported this month and 55% in the last 7 months.
He pointed out that the Iranian Red Crescent Society would import another 5 million doses in the next two days.
"According to the officials of the Health Ministry, several million more doses will be imported by the end of the month," he added.
