Tehran (IP) - Iranian President says the production of domestic coronavirus vaccines has been accelerated with the facilitated licensing process.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking to the heads of the National Task Forces for Combating Coronavirus on Thursday, Ebrahim Raisi said the production of domestic vaccines, including Fakhra and Razi vaccines as well as the development of Barakat vaccine production lines, was accelerated with the facilitation of the issuance of legal licenses by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

Raisi referred to the vaccination pace in the country and said over 1.1 million doses of coronavirus vaccine were injected into people, adding that the pace had the potential to reach 2 million doses per day. 

The processes of importing vaccines, accelerating vaccination, resuming normal activities and implementing smart restrictions were among the issues discussed in the meeting.
