Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had claimed 505 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 112,935.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 09, 2021, a total number of 5,237,799 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,481,814 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 26,821 cases, out of whom 3,638 patients were hospitalized.

7,486 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 29,904,111 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow zones.

So far, 21,128,929 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 11,280,698 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 32,409,627 doses.
